Final Project Proposal

This was my proposal for my final project

I will make a tape sculpture by casting with packaging tape.
My friend will volunteer me and I will make body parts separately then after I finish making all parts, I will put them together.
After I finish making the whole figure, I will put clothes onto the figure.

Why do you want to make this project?
Because I am interested in making life size project.
For the first wire project, I made a life size portrait of my dog.
and for the final project, I decided to make a life size human.

Who will be working on this project?
I will use my friend as a model for the figure.
and I will be open minded for any suggestions.

What will this project involve?
This project will involve me and my friend.

When/ Where will this project take place?
When I finish making this project, I will take it to many difference places and photograph.

Is this project financially feasible?
Yes, if I choose reasonable price materials. (tapes, saran wrap)

Is this project safe?
Yes, it's safe.

Will this project be appropriate for the viewers at this location?
Yes, it's appropriate for everyone. There will be no inappropriate material.

What will this project look like?

Carving Project

For the carving project, I decided to  make a owl out of plaster.

please BE EXTRA CAREFUL if you are planning to do carving.
listen Jamie and don't make your hand bleed!
because it's very painful... i know... because i did.... :'(

Casting Multiples

dolphins and seashells



I made the mold and poured the liquid clay into it


The dolphin was very hard to make!
it was taking forever to dry and
I had to try couple of times to make because inside was still wet and it broke.

Hand Modeling Project

This is my hand modeling ceramic pieces.

I made a hand and base separate



 








I really like how it turned out
and I want to paint them later.

Contour Line/Wire Project

It was my first time using wire. and I had a hard time choosing a right kind of wire.

First, I made a sketches and measured my dog.



It didn't go easy than I thought.
but over all I really like how it turned out!




....and Apollo(my dog) loves it too :)

Final Project
